Bank account stucks "account type : checking"

So. I've been trying to link the account. It was simple at first that it asks for information. I fill them in correctly. And waits for a couple days for confirmation. When deposit came. I filling in the confirmation and then all good as all I need to do is waiting for the account to be check. Right? But funny thing is.... It's been 2 near 3 weeks now that my bank account has not been checked yet at all. Even the peoples saying it should take 3-5 days to complete it. But as I saying. It's been 2 near 3 weeks now and no progress is made. I would want to know what's the issue? And why is it not done yet? I would really love to know the reason or solution as soon as possible. considering I really need to get the bank account completely linked finally.

Go to the Wallet page and click on the bank account.

 

Do you see “Status: Confirmed”? If yes, it means your bank account is ready to use.

 

”Account Type: Checking” shows the “kind” of bank account you have (ie. savings account or current (also known as checking) account), not that the bank account is being checked.

Hi, I've tried connecting my local bank to PayPal. But the status is still "Checking". Is this indicating that my bank is not connected to PayPal yet? And how can I resolve this so that the status can change? Thanks.
