Banking doesn’t work?

Hello can anyone tell me how to fix my PayPal I connected my bank as a payment instead of a debit/ credit card but when I go to make purchases it doesn’t show up it says add a credit/ debit card what should I do

Typically, when a bank account is added as a payment method, it would process only as an eCheck, which processes in about 3-6 business days. As some merchants and websites don't accept eChecks, you would need to have a back-up payment method such as a debit or credit card. Here's how you can add a back-up funding source. With a credit or debit card, your bank account would be able to be used as an instant transfer. This would mean that a payment would be sent instantly, then would be pulled from the bank in 3-6 business days.
