Cant confirm my ICICI Visa credit card (India)

I had tried to link my ICICI Visa Credit card, After adding i got an OTP for deduction of 0.0 USD. Now after successfully verifying the OTP it failed to confirm my card and automatically removed. Tried several times, but not got it worked. I tried to confirm from the the chat bot also and after entering my card it asked for a 4 digit code which i never received. I checked my statement and there is no any paypal related transaction shown even after 3 to 4 days. Anyone here can guide me on this?

I am sorry to know that you're having trouble confirming your card. Please be informed that when you confirm your card, we’ll charge your card. This charge and a 4-digit PayPal code such as "PAYPAL1234 or 1234PAYPAL" will appear on your card statement within 2-3 business days. If a “Confirm Card” link appears next to your card details, which means your card is ready to confirm. This step helps to make sure that the card is valid and belongs to you. If you don’t see the confirm card link, it is possible that our system has automatically confirmed your card and there’s nothing else you need to do. To get confirmation on this, you can reach out to the customer support team through the available contact options on our website.
 

Kindly be advised that if you request the PayPal code more than once, you’ll find more than 1 charge on your card statement. You need to use the latest code that you requested. If you don’t have access to your card statements online, you can check for the code when you receive your next statement in the mail. If you still do not find the charge and code, you may have to remove the card and re-add the card again to see if that works.

Hi, Issue is , I'm seeing a confirm card button, when i click on this it will ask for OTP to deduct 0 (Zero) USD, and successfully deduct it, but as this is 0 USD< it will not reflect in my statement. What to do in this situation.

Thank you for the additional information and I am sorry to hear you are having such issues. It sounds like your card is not compatible with PayPal. I would recommend to try adding a different card. I would also make sure the details are correct. The name and address on your card must match what is registered on your PayPal account. If not, you will get a decline.

My Card is Visa Credit Card from ICICI Bank. Using it for other online service to pay. The issue is with paypal only. I had same with my SBI card also.

One more thing, OTP is generated and 0 USD is deducted as a part of checking the card successfully. But after that system says cant confirm.

Thank you for the follow-up response. There was a small difference in my name on card and paypal username. Changed it and i was able to confirm the card. Thank you so much.
