Crytpo functionality fail/ glitch/ bug on Android - 'Something went wrong. Please try again later'

Hi All

I have bought some Crytpo on PayPal but in the last few days (despite uninstalling and reinstalling the Android app), when I tap from the home page through to the Crypto page, I get the error 'Something went wrong. Please try again later'. So all I can see is the total of my Crypto. I can't tap through to see the breakdown nor could I buy more nor cash out should I want to.

I think this is a pretty fundamental problem and I can't seem to get any technical help despite reporting the problem.

Anyone have any ideas how I can raise this as a functionality problem?

Same issue for me over the last 2 or 3 days. I had a similar issue months ago and was able to resolve it by logging in via the Web browser first and going to crypto and then going into the app worked again. Those steps don't seem to work now either.

Yip exact same problem for me to. Got a Samsung note 10 lite and app no longer has crypto tab . Try to access my crypto balance but does flags the same error message as yourself. Tried the same on my Samsung note 8 and works fine. Crypto tab is there and works. If you need to sell crypto you can use your browser on your phone in desktop mode to stop it accessing the app all the time. 3 wee dots next to crypto and select view bitcoin to access the sell feature of it. But yeah paypal need to fix the app to be compatible with some of our phones.

Having messaged PayPal, it looks like they are aware and are fixing. Hopefully soon!

The last time it went down, paypal had to fix the problem on their end. Don't think there is anything you can do. Paypal problem. It will just suddenly start working again. But yeah it's annoying.

Same app problem here the last few days, on a OnePlus phone. No issue previously. Can still view via the web site.

this is very annoying i just wasted £50 to buy bitcoin now i cant even send it to my bitcoin wallet.

fix it FFS you cant just make a terrible unreliable feature that wastes peoples money make it work 100% of the time.

i cant even transfer my bitcoin from paypal by using the web browser version where the hell is option to send bitcoin to my bitcoin wallet??

This now September and this issue is still happening. Does anyone have an answer yet?
