Hello @ArcticBlue23,
Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! I can understand how there can be some confusion trying to find that 4-dgit code to confirm your card. You'll find that code in your card statement within 2-3 business days. If you have online banking setup with that card, you should be able to see the code in the description of the $1.95 charge presented in the following format: PayPal*1234CODE or PP*1234CODE.
If you request the PayPal code more than once, you’ll find more than 1 charge on your card statement. You need to use the latest code that you've requested.
I hope that helps!

Thank you John K but...
First of all, Online banking setup? Like Chime, or Huntington?
& Second of all, so you know as an update...I tried a new debit card on the 29th and told me the code should arrive 3-5 days instead of 2-3 if I should believe that.

Hello @ArcticBlue23,
Welcome back! The links @kernowlass provided are step-by-step instructions to guide you through linking and confirming your card. Apologies for any confusion regarding our last posts, most all banks and credit card companies offer some way to check your statement online - that is what I was referencing in regard to online banking.
There also may be a slight difference in time-frames from one bank to another. Normally it is 2-3 days but it may take 3-5 depending on the bank.
I hope that helps. Please feel free to reach out to our Customer Support teams if you run into any other road-blocks along the way.
Have a great day!

Thanks again.
Im on to something though-
One thing I gotta mention, I remember a couple times recently I added only debit cards without confirming luckily (not that I still have them).
I forgot what they looked like involving the design and several various designs for me to barely remember which of them works but...
Just maybe it was a type of card that dosent issue a bank?
But either way it worked opposed to the card I've currently tried but asked for a code... a PREPAID VISA DEBIT GIFT-CARD which is exactly this style :

Hi @ArcticBlue23, thanks for the update! PayPal does not normally recommend using prepaid gift cards on our service as you may run into issues like this. If you do wish to use a prepaid or reloadable card, we recommend making sure it's a trusted card which you have registered your personal information with and continue to use, not one you'd buy and then throw away. One example you may want to look into is our PayPal Prepaid Card. However, it's still recommended you use a debit card from a brick and mortar bank, not a reloadable or prepaid card.
I hope that helps,
- Jon K

I guess thanks, one more thing for now...
If I choose to get a PayPal PrePaid card which it says it'll arrive in mail...it would arrive literally to my home or by email?
And while filling out the form of ordering a card... is it very recommended to include Direct Deposit? (At least for PayPal beginners like me)
If so then I'd also ask which choice would be best or most common because I can't be too sure : Paycheck, Tax Refund, or Government Benefit

Unfortunately, I'm unable to provide any advice on which would be most direct deposit option would be best to use. However, you may wish to reach out to PayPal Prepaid Customer Support for assistance or recommendations there.
Also, great question! The physical card would be sent to the physical address you provide to PayPal Prepaid.
Have a great day,
- Jon K
