Linking my Wise virtual card to my Paypal account

I'm able to link my Wise virtual card to my Paypal account, but paypal couldn't confirm my info, and therefore there's limits. not sure what went wrong.

Tried with another wise card and same issue.

When paypal asks to authenticate the card, I click approve in the wise app as usual, but paypal still doesn't seem satisfied...

Paypal does not support Wise / Payoneer (or any other virtual banks).
Whilst you can sometimes add an account it wouldn't work properly and Paypal advise you against trying.
If you do succeed then Paypal wouldn't be responsible for any missing funds to or from that virtual / digital bank account.

But does this also mean that cards issued by wise will not be usable as a payment method on paypal?

Update: so the Wise card does actually seem to work. Managed to pay 2 merchants with it via PayPal. So far seems to work.

I didn't say it wouldn't work, I said you can sometimes add it but its not advised as any missing funds would not be paypals responsibility.

@kernowlass thanks for your replies. Can you direct me to where Paypal states this? Because Wise states that it works seamlessly with Paypal. Tia
