PayPal still shows $0.00 balance after receiving payment. Payment/funds not reflecting.

I recieved a payment 4 days ago, but my PayPal balance is still $0.00. I received an email from PayPal notifying me about the payment and telling me to claim the money, but my balance is still Zero. I checked with the sender and it showed that the money was successfully sent to PayPal. All my details are updated and verified. The currency is correctly set. I don't know what the issue could be. May you kindly assist in this regard.

Double check that the email is really from PayPal. Scammers may send fake payment confirmation.
On the Account Dashboard, there should be a panel that tells you to accept the money. Click the panel.
The balance is $0 because you haven’t accepted payment.
Also your Activity page should list the transaction to accept.
