Cannot link my bank Account

This error when trying to add my bank account, I'm almost certain my bank account used to be on there. Been using Paypal for about 10 years

"We can't process your request right now. Please try again later. "

Have you had a failed bank transfer or negative balance at all?

recently the Commonwealth Bank restricted my account because I had to go into a branch and provide ID for their Know Your Customer laws.

Could that have flagged my account?

I remember an email that a pay in 4 payment failed. I logged in and fixed that up straight away

Any failed bank transfer means your bank is auto-removed from paypal.

They then expect you to use a card instead which is the safer (for Paypal) option as funds are guaranteed to be paid.

Sometimes you can re-link the bank but many report that its not an option anymore.
