Error linking my US Bank Account with my PayPal?

Hello!

So, I tried to link my US bank account with my PayPal account and got a "sorry unable to verify it's you" error message. How do I go about it?

Please I need help with suggestions that might help.

Is it a bank opened in the U.S?

Only you can't use a virtual / digital bank account like Wise or Payoneer.

You can sometimes add them but paypal advises you not to try as they would not be responsible for any lost funds using it.

It's not a bank opened in USA. I was using the Payoneer provided bank details. But, thanks for your response.

Paypal does not support Wise / Payoneer (or any other virtual banks).
Whilst you can sometimes add an account it wouldn't work properly and Paypal advise you against trying.
If you do succeed then Paypal wouldn't be responsible for any missing funds to or from that virtual / digital bank account.
