can't remove credit card from wallet

I'm trying to remove a credit card from my wallet.  the system won't remove it, saying there are "preapproved payments" using the card.  but checking my preapproved payments, nothing is using this particular card.  the card is no longer valid due to fraudulent activity.

how do I get this card out of my wallet?  any ideas?

I see you're looking to remove your credit card from your wallet page. You cannot remove your card if there's a pending transaction or the card is used as a back up payment method for any transaction. If this is not the case, please reach out to the PayPal team to your card removed from your PayPal account. You can find the contact options to reach the team here.
