Don't receive Paypal notices stating " John Doe just sent you money"

I am also having a problem like bigdbrass. I use to receive a Paypal email stating " John Doe just sent you money with Paypal" But I don't anymore. I have to keep checking my Paypal account to see if the person paid the invoice I sent them. I don't know If I might have accidentally changed a setting by mistake which canceled me from receiving the above notices or what. Please help.

Trying to check out the spam folder in my email address I use just for Paypal, led to correcting the problem. I found out that I wasn't receiving emails. I had to make a new primary email address in my Paypal account. I started receiving email notices from Paypal today in regards to confirming sent invoice's & paid invoice's. Thanks surplusdealdude

Problem has been solved. A friend called me & told me to log into Paypal, click on profile, click on notifications, check the appropiate box & click save. Thanks turtleneck.

I thought the problem was fixed, but it wasn't. Not receiving paypal messages when a customer pays by Paypal. I went back into notifications & rechecked the boxes, but still not getting email notifications when customer makes payment to Paypal. I really don't understand what's going on.

Did you check your spam folder?

 

Hotmail and Google both seem to be mad at paypal right now - no matter what I do, they send all  of paypal's emails to spam.

I receive notification on most all my payments, but every once in a while a payment is made & I don't receive an email. What should I check?
