Highly frustrating situation.
A couple years ago I moved.
When I moved, I changed my address in PayPal.
I removed the old address from PayPal.
All my cards in PayPal are linked to my new address.
Occasionally, when I make a purchase using PayPal as the payment provider, the billing and/or shipping address will show the old address.
I always catch it, and then edit the address in the form before I submit the payment.
Despite changing the address in the form before clicking submit, the product or service I purchased is still associated with the old address.
For example, If I order a package from a website that uses PayPal, when I get to the payment screen it will show my old address. I will edit it and then click submit. Then the package gets sent to my old address anyway.
Clearly PayPal needs to take a hard look at how they are handling people's personal information. If they cannot properly handle an address change on an account or at the payment screen then I wonder how well they are treating the rest of my sensitive information.
