Hi Cribooky! I fought with ZestAds,Ltd... with more "aggression" than you, if you will. They tried to pull the BS refund policy with me by telling me to do 3 things in order to "BE ALLOWED" for a refund!! Imagine that!! Here was what they wanted: <<1. A photo of the package with clear tracking number and other details. <<2. A photo of all items that you want to return. <<3. Reason for return with strong proof (video). Clearly, they just made up their refund policies however they wanted with each victimed customers!! Seem different from yours. But I met all the 3 requirements, including the damn video, whoever asked for "strong proof with VIDEO" in order to refund?!?!! Not in this country. I just usee the warning video that someone already posted on YouTube and attached that to this scammer/seller and to PayPal Escalation as well. And luckily, I kept everything that came with the junk flashlights, the package, everything with tracking # on it... the whole thing. Anyway, I threatened to call FBI Fraud unit and the Orange County (CA) -AG office because that's where they drop-shipping facility is operates out off (Fullerton, CA).... After 2 emails from them and filing problem with PayPal, then escalated the case, this scum scammer/seller decided to refund me in full, all $52.90 of it (included the shipping charge), via PayPal... which confirmed that my case is resolved and now "case closed"!! I already got my money back in my bank acct. The funny thing is... these morons didn't even bother to tell me where to send their junk flashlights back!! They didn't even want them!! Bec I told them also that don't even try to BS me about "sending them back to Hong Kong"... bec the pkg was sent out of CA... and that's as far as I'm going to send these POS back. I told PayPal that stipulation was clearly designed to discourage anyone who's trying to persue the case for the refund. They're banking on the fact that the victimized customers would have to pay much higher cost than the cost of the flashlights to Hong Kong, and would just give up the persue, hence they would get away with it. Not me! So, DON'T even tell them that you used the flashlight, although that shouldn't make any difference, IMO... we have to test them if they work or not, that's how we found out that their flashlight is nothing but a knock-off junk imitation of the real TP-360. Most complaints about this scam I'd read, said the same thing about PayPal didn't back them up even as their customers, and about the "Hong Kong" stunt.... You might want to read more about this on another thread under the same topic on this community, there're more posts on the subject than this one here.
