@Temp20211004j It would definitely do more help, than harm your chances. Linking a bank verifies your PayPal account and linking a card confirms your mailing address. Not all funding sources might be available for use sometimes due to a PayPal internal system security block or if a card is expired or a funding source is somehow rendered invalid due to a decline, unverified PayPal account or bounced payment. PayPal accepts Visa, MC, Amex, or Discover prepaid gift cards and you link them to PayPal Wallet page like you would a debit or credit card. You cannot apply the amount on the card to your PayPal balance as cash. Must use the linked prepaid card as the funding source during PayPal Checkout and it must cover the entire purchase or it will decline.
