I do understand your concern with this. Firstly, I would suggest you check the inbox of the primary email address on your PayPal account. When a payment is sent to you, you would receive an email with the details instantly. If you have not received any email confirmation from PayPal, it would mean the payments were not sent. If this is the case, please contact the sender to work this out with them.
If you have received an email confirmation, and still cannot see the payment in your PayPal account, you may need to complete some steps. I would suggest you check if your email address is confirmed. This can be done by following the steps here. I would also advise you to check the status of your account in the 'Resolution Center'. There may be steps you need to complete there.
