Hi,   I called this number to report the same but was told they can't help because it's PayPal International so "just reply to the verification email that was sent to you and explain your email address is being used by someone else" I thanked the rep and hung up, clicked reply on the message and then saw on the bottom of the email "please do not reply this email the inbox is not monitored"!   Any ideas?   thanks ... I've got the same issue.   I recieved an email from Paypal last night saying that someone in China has used my gmail email address to set up a PayPal account. Obviously I've not confirmed it, but I am still concerned that they're using my email address.   How can they confirm the account without access to my email though? From what Ian's saying it seems they've managed to with his.   Could I add the gmail to my googlemail account? Or not now it's been used?   Surely a simple link in the email you send out for account confirmation could stop this problem immediately?   "Click here if you did not set this account up" or similar? ...
