How do I hide postage value when using Paypal shipnow for first class international large envelope?

I am trying to print labels without postage amount showing but see no option for it.   All of my labels print with postage visible but another seller sent me an image of their label with postage hidden.   She said it happens automatically.  I called PP and they said you can't hide postage on international shipments which I am pretty sure is not true.

Can anyone help?

Another question re: the customs form available through shipnow.  My PO says I cannot use a customs form with First Class International Large Envelope but is is certainly an option in Shipnow.  Any thoughts?

Finally, when I use the customs form in shipnow it does not give me option to select merchandise but the other seller I mentioned above has "merchandise"  appear on her customs form when she selects option: "other".   When I select "other", "other" is what actually shows on my form.   I don't understand how this is possible.

That is correct.  That was my example to show you can choose not to display postage when shipping eBay order.   Someone posted that you cannot turn off postage display on international packages but as you can see it is possible  The shipnow screen does not give me that option as you have noted.  However the label I uploaded was in fact printed from Shipnow by another user I know.

Either PayPal got rid of the option on ShipNow since, or with PayPal site being half new view and classic view each person's layout is outta whack, or the person you spoke to was mistaken where they printed it because you and I do not see this option for intl shipments.   The person you spoke to have to do a screenshot of the ShipNow shipping form with the display postage checkbox showing.

The other user does not have the option to turn it on or off.  However, when they printed a label 5 days ago, you can see it does not have the postage displayed.  They said it never displays postage. I know another user who told me the same thing.

may be check your paypal account to see if there is any shipping preference you can set there.

lets not beat this issue to death,no one dies from displaying or not displaying postage

No one dies from not displaying postage?    True.   But I suppose you could say that about any question asked on these boards.

If you are an online seller you know that displaying postage can result in bad feedback from buyers who expect sellers to charge actual postage as a shipping charge.  Unfortunately, with the risk of non-delivery for international shipments and the extra work involved in creating a customs label as well as needing special package materials, some sellers choose to charge substantially more than actual postage so it is VERY important to be able to use stealth postage if you don't want to risk angering those customers. 

Obviously, that is why the option is in Paypal in the first place.  Surely there must be someone here with knowledge of the Paypal shipnow app and this issue? 

If you don't know the answer to our question we respectfully request that you let someone who does know answer our post. 

Also, does anyone have any information to help us with the issues re: the customs form?

I just went to ship now to print a shipping label to Taiwan,first class envelope and letter,this is what Paypal said on shipping labels-

Display Postage Value on Label

If you select this option, the cost of shipping will be included on the label. This option is not available to international destinations.

mya be off the topic,but it is interesting shipnow will allow you to buy shipping label for  first class letter overseas.

This is not available on USPS website or even Ebay?
