Sometimes when I buy something on ebay the line 2 of address field has a comment in it from an order I made a long time ago - it's nowhere in my paypal acccount info or ebay account info. Where is it coming from??
It's always the same comment and in the address 2nd line spot and sellers get confused by it.
I don't know where they get it from and it only shows up in the reciept emails from paypal under the confirmed address area.
How can I change it if it doesnt exist??!?

Hi 33Flash!
Great question, happy to help!
Your hunch is kinda right. When you add a shipping address on a merchant's site, we'll pull that information over to PayPal when you checkout. This is intended for ease of use later on, if you need ship to that same address (like a present for a family member or something like that). If at some point you added a slightly different version of your address as a shipping address, it's possible that it will show up again when checking out.
As far as getting this removed, there would be two options. You could either not remove it at all, and just make sure that when you're brought back to PayPal you select the correct address (it should all be listed in a dropdown). Or, you can contact our customer service and we they can remove it for you. You can either call us, send us a Tweet, or via private message on Facebook.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Andy, they took care of it on the Facebook chat - thank you very much for the tip. I had no idea it recorded external addresses like that..
