Invoice from other countries

A company from Japan is trying to send me an invoice so I can pay for goods I ordered (I live in the USA). They said the invoice is not going through using my paypal email I provided. Why would my paypal not accept invoices from them?

The seller can send the invoice to ANY email address; the recipient doesn't even need a PayPal account.ss

The issue is with the seller.  The seller needs to figure out how to generate and send an invoice.

They are a pretty large company. Not sure what they are doing wrong. I will message them to see if there is something on their side they can change.

DO THEY HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT?

Do they have your Paypal email addr correct?

it should be the one you used to open your Paypal account.

what message are they getting?

I could not find anything named "financial profile" but under payment method it had a "manage currencies" section so I added Japanese Yen as an option. Is this what you are talking about?

accepting Yen is for incoming payments,not sure if this is their problem since they are sending an invoice,I assume they want Yen?

but they must have a paypal account to send invoice.
