I posted an ad on craigslist looking for concert tickets. The prices were like $50 each with fees. Someone messaged me offering tickets at $20 a piece, but are now sold out. Is it safe to buy them by paying on PayPal and have him transfer the tickets through Ticketmaster? Is there anything else I should do to avoid being scammed?
Make sure you follow all of PayPal policies for buyer/seller proteciton. Make sure whatever you buyer is SHIPPED by a trackable delivery service. You will not have protection for items NOT DELIVERED BY TRACKING; that means NO PROTECTION for virtual items.
If the deal seems to good to be true and a way to make quick money make your own decision on the risk you want to take. You are likely to lose your money.
