How Do I Delete Notifications on PayPal.com

Please, how do I delete a notification from my main page of PayPal.com? There's a number 1 by the bell in the upper right, and it pops into my screen all the time.

I have read it 100 times. I don't need it popping into my session every 3 seconds. Plus, when I click into, it suggests I verify my identity. I have already done this!

Why isn't there a way to simply mark this notification as read/delete it???

I have the same question. I want to get rid of the "1" notification on the bell which has an alert that I've already read 50 times.
