Paypal won't let me link my prepaid American Express SERVE Card, how come?

I need to buy something really soon and I can't buy it directly with AMEX serve cards, so I was hoping to link it to paypal and then pay

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Forums with this question! Have you checked with the card issuer to see if there are any issues on their end? In many cases if a card is having trouble being linked to PayPal it's because either the card issuer is declining our ability to verify the card or there's something that needs to be enabled on their end for it to work online. The latter is the most common problem we'll see with prepaid cards.
