Different name

Hello, I am new to PayPal. I signed up under a pseudo name due to privacy concerns. I obviously can not link my bank to it because of the different name. I was wondering if I change it to my real name when people send me money will they be able to see my real name?

Paypal will change 'minor' typos for you OR a legally changed name.

Its unlikely that you will be able to change a 'fake' name.

You would also not be allowed to open another paypal account of the same type, if you do then then both would more than likely be limited.

You can't 'verify' a Paypal account with a fake name or add a bank account that does not match.
