Hi
My son has just discovered that his email address is being used for a Paypal account in China.
He called the help line but was told that as his name was not on the registered account they could not help.
He then tried to change the password using his email address and simply got the message that "something had happend at our end please try again later"
So does this mean that Paypal allowed the user to set up an account without verification or do you simply register and then change your username.
I assume the message means the person usining my son's email address has password reset blocked for obvious reasons.
Why do Paypal refuse to do anything about this?
He would post this message himself but of course he can't get on.
Many thanks for any advice
