Deleting my account with pending balance

I want to delete my account and open a new one, but i sell on ebay and sometimes they hold my money into a pending balance until someone leaves positive feedback. What will happen to that money if i close the account and it is still pending?

I'm in the same boat. For some reason my account wasn't able to receive the money from an eBay transaction, so I created a new one to get the money. My balance was suposed to be released August 2nd, but i still can't get it. To answer your question, Paypal says they will send you a check for the money that's left over in your account less a $1.50 fee for writing the check, but I don't trust that. I'd just wait until the money is released, then buy stuff until the balance runs out, close the account and move on.

I don't think you can delete a PayPal account which has a balance.  Why do you want to delete the account and open a new one?
