Can I link two accounts.

I have 2 separate accounts but would like to join the two email addresses together under one account but can't see how. Is it possible? Thanks. Rob

You are only allowed 2 accounts if 1 is personal and the other is business, if you have 2 of the same type you 'risk' them both being limited.

You can have up to 8 email addresses on the one paypal account and as long as they have been verified you can use any of them to receive funds etc.

You can't however 'merge' accounts so you would need to close one account completely before you 'may' be able to use the other email address on the second account.

Thanks for the response. They're both personal. If I close one account and it doesn't free up the associated email address I'm in a mess

Well it should free it up but as i do not work for paypal (thank goodness !), and paypal has some strange 'glitches' at times i can never say 100% it will work.

Your best bet is to give a customer services agent a call to double check on that one. >>

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top. Log in and get the code.

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent".

In the UK its free from any landline phone.
