Is it possible to create a PayPal account under 18 if you have parents permission?

I as well as my son have been doing lots of research on how to get him his own separate PayPal account. I have read forms saying it's impossible, but I have heard other forms saying you just need parents permission and your fine. If all he needs is my permission, how do we get PayPal to know he has permission? Thanks in advance.

You are talking about a students account which Paypal withdrew last year.

Under 18's are not allowed a paypal account now and if they open one and lie about their age then as soon as they are asked to verify that account they will be found out and limited.

As they broke paypal rules then they would probably not be able to open an account when they were 18.
