Paypal does very little till the dispute is escalated t a claim. The Paypal usually gives the seller at least 10 days to respond (sometimes more).
Was this a claim for non delivery.

You purchase fell under the older paypal user agreement.
Since this was not an ebay purchase your refund from paypal will be limited to the amount of funds the seller has in theri paypal account.
I am not sure if you will fall under the newer buyer protection plan. If you do it will not matter if the seller has funds , paypal will refund out of their pocket

You did fund that paypal payment with a credit card or branded (M/C, Visa) correct.........
If so and you fall under the older plan, and payapl is unable to get the funds from the seller, you can then file a chargeback.

Hi mainenwo!
The seller has 10 full days to respond. This means that the claim will close out on the 11th day around the same time the email was sent requesting additional information.
Has your claim closed out? did you receive a refund? Please let us know if you have any further questions, comments, or concerns.
Thank you for using PayPal.
