Having recently opened a dispute against a Seller, obviously my comments regarding the dispute are on full display.
Paypal initial action was:- awaiting seller comments.
Paypal then notified me that the Seller had posted an explanation disagreeing with the dispute, the dispute is now under review by Paypal.
My obvious question is :- If my dispute comments are on full view to the Seller, then why are the sellers reply comment not available for me to view, as I should like to see if the truth is being put forward within the explanation?.
I would appreciate any comments,
Thank you.

Hi there Snowie,
When a seller responds to a case through their PayPal account, the case is forwarded to be reviewed by a member from our claims team. When you initiall open a case through your account, you can communicate with your seller through the Resolution Centre on your account. If your seller responds in this stage, you can see what they say in your Resolution Centre.
Once a case has been escalated to a claim, you will be unable to see your sellers response in your Resolution Centre as this does not provide the oppertunity for a buyer or seller to communicate through their Resolution Centre.
I hope this helps,
David.

Hi David,
Will the claims team ask for more detailed information regarding the claim after receiving the sellers comments? Because there there are a few things I would like to add, importantly the emails through Ebay that the seller and I sent back and forth. Can Paypal see those emails as proof?
Thanks.

"Once a case has been escalated to a claim, you will be unable to see your sellers response"
May I ask the reasoning behind this as it does not seem fair that a decision is to be made on a secret conversation?
