Hello, guys. I'm pretty new to this, i ussualy.

Recently i did a none-verbal/ casual trade with a guy towards an online game account.

And today i get a investigation pending temprary hold pending investigaion... appreatnly the guy is trying to refund his money sying he wasn't aknowledged.

I gave the full info and replied to paypal, but i am not sure what should i do here? Before getting this refund/scam thing happening i did message paypal about a withdraw, the same money i received from the same guy i withdrawed to my credit card but sadly i was the one i canceled few months ago so i asked via support about what will happen with the money that i withdrew to a canceled credit card.

And today i get this message and im quite ... confused, since my paypal account shows -XX euro...

What will happen in this situation? And what is this all about?

I apologise for asking such stupid questions, and wish the best to all!

If its found in his favour then  he will get his money back. If you don't refund him then paypal will do so.

BUT then paypal will put your account into negative and limit it until you pay them back again. Any debts not paid off are passed on to a recovery company after a certain period of time.

But wait for the end of the dispute before you do anything as they have to find in his favour first.

If your buyer has filed a dispute for an unauthorised payment then paypal will investigate, if the payment was unauthorised then the account holder will get their money back.

Normally you would be covered by seller protection and not lose anythIng BUT there is NO seller protection for virtual items.

You can list them but entirely at your own risk unfortunately.

If paypal find in his favour then your account will stay in negative and limited until you pay them back again.

Wait for the end of the dispute and go from there.

So you are saying that.

If it founds in his favour i will have to give him back that money he gave me, or i will ned to give him money from my own ?

Also i dont really have the money since the money was witdhrew but the withdrawing wasn't complete.. yet the withdrawing was even to a canceled credit card.

Hmm, i really appreciate your help, thus i need to ask something else.

Today i received another e-mail with the same info that my account being investigated and etc, like the one before.. but this time the e-mail was sent from a diffrent e-mail but still ending with @paypal

It was not sent from the usual e-mail that follows as service.paypal.. email the ony you ussualy get reply from.

In this e-mail that i received from the second  e-mail.. says that i should go int othe resolve center and put an action.. and all the 3 actions state as.. taht i should refund or provide legal info, therfore i do not want to refund anything, yet i don't have proof of anything that i shipped, because i have not shipped anything.

Is the second e-mail i got sent with the same info a fake one? Yestarday i got the same message as the one from dubservice but withouth the claiming i should go and choose one of the 3 options in the resolution center.

They both say investigation.. with same routuing code. Am i being double scammed or ?

Quite confusing.

Would appreciate any type of help here.
