Changing phone number requires loggin in with previous phone number

To log in I need a verification test with my old phone number. I do not have access to that phone number anymore. 

The problem is that to change that old phone number to the new one I still require my previous phone number to pass the test.

Which makes this impossible to solve 😕

hello @bidoubiwa , you will not be able to modify the mobile number yourself.
verification is mandatory.
you will need to contact paypal customer service to resolve this issue.

during working days and opening hours

by messaging from paypal, by phone, and also on Facebook and Twitter (Paypal customer service is present above)

on paypal:

- at the bottom of the Help And Contact page

then at the bottom of the page that opens "contact us" (on the right) and finally, still at the bottom right: "call us"

I tried finding their contact number but unfortunately, I also need to access my account to be able to contact them through the Paypal website. 

I contacted them through facebook. I hope it works

it works with facebook and sometimes better with twitter.
