Lost email address, can't login or reset password

Hi all,

Recently I lost access to my gmail which is associated with my paypal account. This paypal account was created when I was living in Australia. It has been long time since my last login. Now when I try to login, Paypal ask me to reset my password but I no longer have access to my gmail. I tried to contact Paypal through live chat and call but it keep redirect me to my current country. What should I do?

As there was a long gap in using the account the account may be locked. Do not worry you can contact us via www.paypal.com and click on "Contact Us" bottom of the page > login and password issues > and then scroll down to call or message us as guest so that one of our teammates will assist you further as we need verbal authentication to assist you with account login issues.

Hi Becky, I tried "Contact us" on paypal website but it only direct me to support team in Vietnam, my current country. They said that they can only help with account that was created in Vietnam. The account I need help was created in Australia. And I can't use "Contact us" to reach Australia support team.

Thank you for your reply! I'm sorry for the difficulty that you've encountered. Please try the above steps but start with the website www.paypal.com/au. This should allow you to get through. Alternatively, you can reach out by DM on Twitter or PM on Facebook.
