Closing Account Atempt

I tried to close out my paypal account and it keeps saying that the acount can't be closed. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do to settle this?

Is it limited at all?

I would go to close account link and it would direct me to either them text me a pin code or call me. Once I entered the pin code I was sent a page would come up saying your account can't be closed

My apologies I misunderstood what you meant, but yes it is limited.

Then sorry you can't close a 'limited' account.

Paypal won't allow you to because they want to 'freeze' any email address or financial information linked to that paypal account to stop you being tempted to use it by opening another paypal account.
