Can't transfer money from PayPal to my prepaid PayPal card

I can't put money on my prepaid card and I have bills to pay. I keep getting this message "Error transferring money between your PayPal account and your PayPal card. Please try again." what does this mean? Everything is linked up properly but I can't put money on my card

Having the same problem as well, and since this is the only google match for that error message, it must be a rare issue indeed. Hopefully they get it fixed soon

I finally got an answer from a supervisor I talked to about this.

If you call in about this and the rep tells you its a "system update" THAT IS A LIE and have them transfer you to a supervisor. 

They are having a problem with the programming on their website. The SUP said that the website itself is working but add funds from Paypal accounts is having issues. 

They have no idea when this will be fixed. The people fixing the problem haven't found a solution yet, and all the supervisor told me I could do was wait and keep calling back.

I have been waiting for this problem to be resolved for 3 days! I have no clean clothes because my laundry money cant be added from my paypal where I get my income from! I guess I wouldn't be broke if I just transferred it to my bank account instead!

FINGERS CROSSED the sup said the techs are estimating it be fixed by end of day. I will be checking hourly to see if that info is correct.

I kinda figured it may be a code problem of some kind associated with an update.  Make sense to me. But what doesnt make sense is why its taking so long to fix it.  Somebody needs to get fired for this because its a big inconvenience to many people.  Paypal should compensate users for this huge error!

I got the same answer yesterday, along with supposedly an email when it's fixed. I have literally $5 to my name at the moment - and it's on my prepaid card, which I went to use for some bare bones basics. It is ALSO not working, so I had the joy of being declined at a store on top of all of this. 

*sigh*

I need this money for my anxiety meds - and guess what's triggering the most anxiety in me right now?!

I'm still checking it every hour. If I get it to work I'll post here.

Read my recent response to a post (first time here so not sure how to share with you) but it's an easy fix just seems like the actual techs have NO CLUE as to what they are doing JUST SAYING! BUT how to fix your problem  is listed under a guys question about paypal and Bancorp or something like that? Good luck!

just spoke with a represenative and the paypal-prepaid website is currently undergoing problems and they are apparently working to resolve this issue and ask that everyone keep trying to transfer until the program is up and running again.

Whats the point of keep trying to transfer money if it doesnt work? I have a great idea.  Fix the problem and inform all those affected when its working again.  Why would I keep giving the definition of insanity and keep trying to transfer when they don't say its fixed??

I have the same problem.  I spent 45 minutes on the phone with PayPal today and was transferred 5 times.  I finally got someone to admit that the pre-paid system is down and they are working on it.  I was told they expected it up at 1pm today but... I have been trying again since then and it is still not working.  This is rediculous!  Paypal is holding peoples money hostage.  They limit the ways you can get your money and now a system failure that has been going on for 48 hours.  They should be crawling under a rock.  In addition - money transfers to bank accounts should NOT take 3-5 business days.  This is 2016, my money goes into the PayPal account immediately, there is no reason why it should not come out immediately.
