PayPal asking me if I sent money

So I sent money to this person and have received a text from PayPal if i did that but i have never got this text before when i sent money to my friends so what does it mean. The text was as follow: [PayPal] Did you pay -£120.00 GBP to J R on 3 September 2019? Please reply 1 if yes or 2 if no. [Reply needed]

From time to time, you may receive a notification like this to confirm you are the one completing the payment.
