How can I use a a prepaid gift card to pay for part of a purchase?

I have a prepaid card in the amount of $25.  My purchase is more than that.  I would like to use the $25 from my prepaid gift card, and then pay the remaining balance from my preferred payment method. Is this possible?

Prepaid cards don't do split payments. Has to cover entire transaction.
