Payment is "processing"

 Sold something recently and the buyer paid for it. However, my account has not received the funds as of yet. On the website I sold the item it says the buyer checked out but the payment is still being processed by PayPal. At first I thought it was a hiccup on the buyer's end. Turns out it was because I had recently changed my email and hadn't verified it. I have since verified my email address but the payment still hasn't finished processing. And on the PayPal account it says absolutely nothing at all about any funds "in process." Is there something else I need to be doing or does this normally take a while once the email has been verified?

'Add' the old email address to your paypal account and verify it and the funds should show up.

Check the email address you have on the website and make sure it doesn't still say the old one.

 

If its Ebay then do this...........

 

Go to ebay and click on 'sell' put in anything (as you aren't going to actually list anything) until you get to the main page > scroll down under ''postage'' and where it says payment methods check the email address that is on that page, is there a spelling mistake or old one?

we are allowed more than one email address for same  paypal account.

is the second email address of a new paypal account or the old account?

OK so the info I got from both of you was very helpful in that I updated my PayPal account to include my old email and also my E bay account was linked to the old email as well. This helped greatly as I can now see the pending paying on my PayPal account. Problem is, it says it won't clear until the second week of October... is this normal? Or is there a way I can speed this along? Sorry for the questions... I'm new to this. (The selling part of PayPal that is)
