Personal payment

Hi all!

I'm trying to make a personal payment to Australia from Belarus.

When I add an email address of the recipient and proceed to sending payment, there is no "gift" or "friends and family" option. The transaction type states "Paying for an item or service".

How can I make a personal payment?

I haven't found any info that personal payments from Belarus aren't supported.

Regarding your concern, please refer to this Help Center article for more details:

Once you've clicked on the send & request tab, you could click on the send payment for goods so that you could change it. The link itself should be clickable or sometimes there should be a link that says change to change the way your sending the money.

The step "Select from the 3 options" is missing in the interface within my account.

Step 1: When I click on the "Send" tab at the top of the page (by the way, the name of the tab is not "Send & Request " - it is "Send" only), I can only add an email of the recipient and I cannot choose the payment type out of 3 options. There are no options.

Step 2: The "Paying for an item or service" text is not clickable. It remains as the only payment type during all further steps up to clicking "Send Money Now".

I do believe that it has to do with the fact that I'm from Belarus and as far as I know in Belarus individuals cannot receive personal payments. Though I do not understand why I cannot SEND personal payments from Belarus.

I haven't found any info on country restrictions either (well, besides restriction on personal payments to/from India).
