PayPal credit refund showing negative balance

Hi,

I purchased a sofa with PP Credit that was faulty and after a few months finally got a refund from the store. The total amount had already been paid before the refund was issued and now my PP Credit balance is displaying negative (-) £850.

Does this mean these funds are locked into PP Credit? There's no way of transferring them to a bank account or regular PayPal account?
