Hi
I bought a payg sim card from Ovivo (as part of their freedom package, that claimed to offer free minutes, texts and data every month) for £20 a couple o weeks ago. About a week later the sim arrived, and worked fine. A couple of days ago i tried to transfer my old number over, and when i tested it to see if it had worked, i couldn;t make any calls. Just discovered the company shut down yesterday evening (though apparently they were still letting customers buy the £20 sims as late as yesterday afternoon, right before the site went down).
Is there chance of me getting my money back? All i've made with this sim is one 5 minute call! I went to open a dispute, but none of the options under additional info apply to my situation. The item was not damaged, counterfeit etc etc. Also it asks me fior a link to the page where i purchsed the item which i cant provide now the site is down..
To add insult to injury, this all happened while i was transfering my old number from the old sim to the new one, so i am left without a working sim and i have lost my old numer, that i wanted to keep

Well i would file for item received but not as described as that is the nearest option > put in what has happened > escalate to a claim.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thanks. I was going to do that, but then it gives me a list of reasons to select (such as wrong colour, wrong size etc etc) and none of these apply to my situation..

Select the nearest one to it......how about wrong size as the size of usage advertised is incorrect?

Hi
I didn't even get a chance to use my sim card from OVIVO before they went down. Contacted paypal who rferred me to my bank who, in turn, referred me back to paypal.
Did you have any luck with them? I too found the list of options not particulary helpful.
Let me know if you had a better response than I did!
