Hacked Discord account and bought nitro gifts

Hello Everyone I need Help with situation. I was hacked and someone used my discord account a bought discord gifts (2x 9,99 usd) with my Paypal. I asked Paypal for refund because the transaction was unauthorized. They closed my request for refund. (because they said, it was not unauthorized). I made more tickets to Discord Support, because i findout more information about that. Then they stopped my discord account because chargebacks. Yesterday I asked Discord support again about refund and get my account back but they dont respond yet. What I can do? Is there enythnig else? I will be very happy for help, Paypal support and people.

Thank you for your post! I can understand how frustrating that would be. In this situation, I recommend reaching out to Discord. Since your Discord account was compromised, and not PayPal, we wouldn't be able to approve the unauthorized case.

I have this problem too and I’m about to close my PayPal account because this is the 2nd time a charge I wasn’t responsible for got through to my bank and they didn’t want to help because “it’s a merchant issue”. I deserve protection from scams and identity theft, and this will be an even bigger problem in the future. If I go through the merchant and don’t get anything resolved, I’m supposed to be able to fall back on my bank to dispute. Which is exactly what I have to do once this posts to my account.
