So I recently bought Digital items in a game and the seller did not deliver the items. I opened a dispute in which i described that the seller did not deliver the items that i bought. I used the payment method for business and marketing and the seller told me that he sent the money to another account and that he will delete his current account so that i do not get my money back. Now my question is will i get my money returned even after he scammed me and deleted his account? Or can he even delete his account after I opened a dispute against him?

Make sure you escalate to a claim and ''if'' you win and the seller does not refund then paypal normally refund under their buyer protection policy.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Doesn't matter if he does not respond just escalate when you get the option, do not let it time out at 20 days post opening it !!!

You can escalate whenever you want to as long as the escalate option has appeared.
BUT you only have up to 20 days from opening the dispute to escalate it or it times out and auto closes.

Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. Thank you @kernowlass for providing that Help Center article. Your time and assistance is always appreciated.
Hi @Anonymous_User, welcome back! To escalate a dispute, we often require that at least seven days have passed since the payment date. However, you're welcome to reach out to our Customer Support teams if the merchant is not being responsive or helpful.
I hope that helps!
