I might have been scammed

I ordered an item the item was a counter top ice maker and i never received it i have the email that it has been shipped and the item is from china and its shipped from china post i tried contacting the seller but no response im running out of options i ordered the item Jan 20th 2022 I'm thinking I might have been scammed what do I do to get my money back if there isn't record of the transaction. But i have the screenshots in my email.

Hello @QUEENHUSTLER88, Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

 

If you do not have a record of the transaction in your PayPal account the transaction may have been made using a guest account. A guest account lets you checkout using PayPal without having to sign in to your PayPal account. We will still have a record of this transaction through the email address you used at checkout and your screenshot.

 

If you have yet to receive the item you purchased, you can file a dispute through PayPal by following the steps listed here: https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/article/FAQ1344. If you are unable to resolve your dispute directly with the seller, then it is important that you escalate this dispute to a PayPal claim within 20 days. By escalating this dispute to a claim, you are asking PayPal to investigate the dispute and determine its outcome. If the dispute is not escalated to a claim within 20 days, then it will automatically be closed and cannot be reopened.

I spoke to PayPal and we opened a dispute against the seller and I have to wait until February 15 to see what happened
