UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES AND PAYPAL DOESN'T HELP ME.

Today I received 8 different mails at the same time about 8 different 50 euro charges, so 400 in total and another mail that my account closed, obviously from whoever charged me the 400. I asked for help from the paypal support's twitter account and they informed that their team will investigate the incident. After a few hours I got a mail that they had opened a case about the incident I reported and then, JUST 10 minutes later they informed that they found no unauthorized activity. ARE YOU SERIOUS PAYPAL? They stole my money because of your joke of security and you won't refund me my money?

Hello @gbat

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I can understand it can be a bit concerning when an unauthorized dispute doesn't result as you had expected. During an investigation of an unauthorized dispute, PayPal would consider something unauthorized when someone steals / fraudulently obtains the login information for your PayPal account, uses that information to access your PayPal account, and then sends a payment from your PayPal account.

Was this for some kind of billing agreement or subscription where you had PayPal saved as a funding source? If so, that may be considered a situation where you had already granted previous authority to someone to use your PayPal account by giving them your login information.

With that in mind, reaching out to our Customer Support may be the best option to provide an alternate solution. They may be able to review your cases a bit further and provide additional context that may not have been previously provided, however they still may not be able to provide a refund for those particular cases.

Good luck and best wishes!

Are you deliberately trying to insult my intelligence? Would I have reached out to you, if that was the case? After the ridiculous response form customer support, I had to actually talk to them like I do to you right now, like you don't understand what I mean, so I have to dumb it down for you. I mean seriously! That's the best you can tell to somebody that used to trust PayPal and finds out that his account got hacked and money was stolen? So, the customer support, MIRACULOUSLY, realized that there was actually unauthorized activity after all and I'm actually waiting for my money to be returned.
