Why is Paypal not helping me re lastminute.com dispute?

Recently lodged a dispute with Lastminute.com to whom I paid over £400 for flights they cancelled. I have proof via transcripts that they lied about the flights causing me to pay another £500 to actually get flights with another company. Paypal denied my dispute stating Lastmeinute had sent documents.I have also got documents, does Paypal not want to see my documents proving my case?

They cancelled my flights and lied to me so it stands to reason these documents are not legit as I had to book alternative flights! I purchased using Paypal as i thought it would protect me should anything happen but obviosly it doesnt! Lastminute have tons of previous form for this, one look at the online complaints shows they do this very frequently. Unfortunately I didnt know this prior to booking or I would not have booked with them.

My question is HOW can paypal accept whatever it is that Lastminute has sent but not asked me to provide MY proof about the flights? I have transcripts and emails proving they lied to me, why is paypal not interested in helping me??? Where is my buyer protection?

I’m just going thru the same today with kiwi.com I will update as I find out from PayPal but good luck as I’ve had Major issues with wot if 2 months ago
