Paid for an item on Facebook via Family & Friends. Can I get my money back?

Is there anyway to get my money back?

I sent payment via Friends & Family.

Seller has stopped reading my messsages and responding all together.

Friends and family payments are not covered by buyer protection. Never use it for purchases.

Is there any way to get compensation for this? It can't be as simple as letting it go and losing out. It's stealing.
