Unknown SP Two LTD transaction

Has anyone come across SP two LTD?  My daughter was almost in tears this morning after receiving a charge for £4.50.  If she wanted to cancel she had to do it through paypal. I saw that SP Two Ltd had planned to take this out weekly.  My Daughter is adamant that she never signed up to anything like this and doesn't know the company.  She does everything through her phone.  I couldn't find a way to cancel this through her phone app.  She uses biometrics to log in and had forgot her password for the desktop.  After a lot of effort on my part with my desktop I managed to help her.  I think I have managed to cancel the payments for her.

I have a few questions.

Does anyone know of SP Two Ltd and their tactics or come across related scams and have a solution?

Why can a person download the paypal app; create an account through the paypal app and not have full access as within the desktop environment to make changes?

Should palpal offer a service to a company like this?

Here are a few related links.  Looks like they have started again.

If you are being charged through paypal. Using pc you should be able to log into your PayPal account and cancel there. If the charge was added to your phone bill I assume you should have been sent a text that allowed you to reply with STOP or CANCEL. The phone part I cannot be sure of as my daughter didn't have this problem. Her monies was leaving through paypal. Previous messages may have answered this.

Check out my early posts. There is some info there that might help. In my daughters case money was deducted through her PayPal account. You can cancel paypal payments this way but only through your pc. No option with phone.

Wow that’s an awful lot of money! The first thing to do it get these payments blocked, speak to your bank or do it via PayPal to prevent additional money being deducted. Next email them and request a refund in full, tell them you will report this and require a Subject Access Request to evidence where the payments were authorised. You need to keep emailing them over and over requesting a refund, but importantly you must stop any further payments going out. Don’t forget that if the payments were made from a credit card or overdraft you are protected under credit consumer act & they will refund your money then claim it back from this company.

From what I can see on PayPal's website, you are not the only one to have been

charged by SP Two Ltd. It is begining to look more and more like a scam!

I'm not sure how much help we who have been scammed will get from

PayPal. I have only just (today) registered this issue with PayPal today,

so I shall wait and see,

It's a shame PayPal do not list either a telephone number or an email

for SP Two Ltd,

Payments were being taken out of my daughter pay pal account. On a pc log in and cancel this there. If you did this through your phone you should have received a message that you could reply to stop payments. A lot of information can be found in earlier posts from other contributions to the early posts
