Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'd be grateful for thoughts.
I have sold something on eBay to a buyer who has been a member since 2010, but has 0 feedback.
Their confirmed address appears to be incorrect. There is an extra didgit on the first part of the postcode.(I noticed it because it is for the same city I live in and looks wrong).
I have used the Royal Mail address finder to confirm the address and this suggests that the postcode does indeed have an extra didgit.
I have contacted the buyer and they have confirmed the revised postcode.
I am planning to send by a tracked method anyway (first class recorded), however, should I use the postcode as stated? Or the revised version?
I want to ensure I don't lose my seller protection, I'm just a little wary given the very new status of this buyer.
Thanks in advance.
