Check your account at (bank name #card number#) before retrying this card

Hello,

Every time I try to pay using my credit card that I linked with PayPal, it keeps showing me this message: "Check your account at (bank name #card number#) before retrying this card".

The card is already confirmed, and I contacted the source bank and they found no issues with it.

I would appreciate it if someone could help me in solving this matter.

Thanks,

Hello @GhassanEnglish

Welcome back to the PayPal Help Community and thanks for your post!

I am sorry to hear that you're not able to pay using your credit card linked in your PayPal account. For successful payments, the information on your PayPal account must match the information on file with the card-issuing bank. Any small discrepancy in a name, address, or anything else can cause the error. If the information matches, I suggest you to try again at a later date by clearing your cookies, history, cache, etc. from your browser or try using a different browser/device. If the issue persists, please try to complete the payment with a different card/bank. You can also refer this article for the tips of payment declines.

Thanks for the help here @kernowlass

Hope this information helps,

Bindu
