Gamestop order didn't go through but pending transaction exists 4 different times.

As the title says I attempted a large and rather expensive console order from gamestop in which the order didn't go through, so I attempted it multiple times to no avail, only to quite. Checking my email I see confirmed paypal pending payments to gamestop 4 in total over $400 each (all the same amount). Gamestop has no record of my order but Paypal is giving me no option to dispute or get it removed, there is no cancel button in summery and the resolution center says it can not do anything with any of the transactions. What do I do to get these cancelled and off pending? Someone lease help.

Did any of you actually manage to get your money back, even if it was after a year? I have the same issue.. the payment is pending 7 days now

I'm having the same problem and when I called GameStop customer service the first time they told it would release the money within 24 hours. I waited and no money.. so I called back the next day and the GameStop agent said 7-10 business days and that they've been having problems with PayPal and they were trying to remove PayPal as a form of payment from online shopping. so I wait out the 10 business days and nothing. Today is the 27th and it really annoys me that GameStop customer service is THAT clueless #1 because I googled this issue and GameStop has been doing this to people since at least 2012... I've shopped online in places all over the world and NEVER had this issue..(only 30-day hold I ever had was on eBay but that was probably 15 years ago and that was ONLY IF someone paid with PayPal but didn't have enough money in the available funds to cover it so it was taken from the linked bank account on file) I had plenty of money in available funds sitting in PayPal so it wouldn't have even had to pull anything out from my linked account and for this to be such a common problem WITH THEIR STORE you would think customer service would be truthful and not give you the runaround. Tomorrow I'm calling the corporate offices to try to confirm what another poster said about 30 days being the max.. I hope that's true in my case because I've only a few more days but it really agitates me that they have this issue on such a regular basis and don't care that much about their customers. (I'll write back with what they tell me after calling tomorrow)

I had this happen recently and just stopped back to let you guys know...i had it happen on January 1st and the payment got back into my account today.. January 30.. so it takes 30 days to release from the hold..They should really add that to the site.. because even customer service didn't have this answer for me.

When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.

Thats not normal unless your paypal account has been limited, so reach out to customer services and see if they can sort it for you?
Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

I just went to purchase mario maker 2 and the order didn't go trough but PayPal charged me twice. What can I do please help. Has anyone gotten this resolved. Also does it charge my credit card or no?
